Assimilation Agreement: in 2023, after ten years of uneven implementation, GUCU and Goldsmiths agreed on the final implementation of the Assimilation Agreement, which protects the working conditions of casualised members of staff, including fixed term, part time, Associate Lecturers and hourly paid staff. Fixed Term Contracts: the FTC, agreed between GUCU and Goldsmiths, sets out the protections enjoyed by fixed term workers, in particular against ‘less favourable treatment’ than permanent members of staff. You can read it here.
