Staff and students make this university and value it for the creative and critical thought it fosters. Together we have withstood, slowed, and transformed disastrous intervention in the past.

Everyone can get involved in protecting this university’s past, present, and future. Here are some suggestions:

  • If you are not already a member of one of the campus unions, join us! If you’re academic or academic-related staff, join ucu here. Or join Unison if you’re in professional services and support staff in security, cleaning, libraries, IT, and administrative roles
  • Join in the Marking Boycott if you can — we’re raising funds to make this financially possible, so apply to the hardship fund. If you can’t join, donate.
  • Keep informed about what is happening and don’t take management’s spin. Follow us on our socials, keep an eye on the news page, and see this drive for an overview of resources and information about Goldsmiths UCU’s opposition to the Transformation Programme.
  • Give input on the issues you’re experiencing with the transformation consultation.
  • Join a working group focusing on a particular action to challenge this TP. This form gives an overview.
